Men’s Soccer Update

Men’s soccer finished its season at 5-9-3 overall and 4-9 in the PacWest, but ended on a tenacious note with back-to-back-to-back wins at home, outscoring opponents 7-3. Scott Hill’s double-overtime goal beat BYU-Hawaii 1-0. The Vulcans then opened up for three goals on Dominican University. And finally, Hill again tallied the double-overtime game-winner to beat Holy Names University. Losing 15 players to exhausted eligibility, first-year Head Coach Gene Okamura will be looking at incoming goalie Andrew Tamburro and mid-fielders Jonathan Garcia and Rodrigo Castellanos for impact.
